About the Owner

 

 

Crystal Wilson is a “Special Events Planner” and Owner of A Brilliant Affair, LLC. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, A Brilliant Affair is a full service event planning firm that organizes and assists various social gatherings from Weddings and Bridal Showers to Corporate Events and Family Reunions. The purpose of a Special Event Planner is to take away the endless stress from the organizer, whether it’s a Bride-to-be or an Administrative Assistant. Crystal truly believes that organization is the key to a successful event. Her energy, professionalism, passion and positive attitude put clients at ease, and gives them the knowledge that they are in good hands.

 

Crystal has over 10 years of experience in planning events.  Prior to establishing A Brilliant Affair, Crystal has worked in various industries including Financial Services, the Federal Government and in Project Management with a leading Information Technology firm.  Ms. Wilson holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance from Johnson C. Smith University and a MBA in Management from American InterContinential University.  She also holds a certificate in Event Planning from Georgia Perimeter College and is Certified in Butterfly Releases through the Association for Butterflies.

 

Ms. Wilson is quite active in the Atlanta area, holding memberships in various organizations such as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Urban Financial Services Coalition, National Association of Professional Women and Toastmaster's International.  She has also volunteered and planned events for various organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement.
